Building the biosecurity toolbox - Unwanted pest and diseases ID cards

The principle objective of the Pledge is to support and encourage businesses to play a proactive role in a biosecurity system that successfully protects New Zealand’s unique national environment, economy and way of life. The Pledge helps build business competence to proactively adopt good biosecurity measures that help reduce disruption to business and trade.

One area of biosecurity capability is awareness building. So, the Pledge has produced an introductory set of ID cards that help to identify some of the high-risk pests and diseases that need to be kept out of New Zealand. Businesses can use these ID cards with staff, customers, suppliers, in fact anyone!
