The Ko Tātou This Is Us and Biosecurity New Zealand Auckland Port teams are taking a stand at this year’s SeePort Festival in Auckland, 25-27 January. We invite you to join in on the action.

Ports of Auckland’s SeePort Festival is a three-day celebration of Auckland City’s beautiful waterfront and rich maritime heritage. The family-friendly festival is one of New Zealand’s largest free events, returning in 2020 for its seventh year of seaside fun.

We invite you over Auckland Anniversary weekend to check out the port from land, sky or sea as Captain Cook Wharf is transformed into a bustling summer festival.

SeePort is a great opportunity for MPI to raise awareness of the importance of biosecurity and that it’s up to all New Zealanders to play their part in the efforts to prevent pests and diseases from getting into Aotearoa, or helping to stop their spread if they do get here.

We’ll have three activations at our stand including a brown marmorated stink bug photo wall with cut-out detector dogs, a BMSB specimen lightbox and marine pest models.

The festival will also feature carnival rides, boat sailings, helicopter trips, delicious food, virtual-reality experiences, port tours, music and entertainment on and off the water – little and big kids will be spoilt for choice!

Sun and sea are the perfect mix for a long weekend, and best of all it's mostly free!

We hope to see you there!
