Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital Partners Forum

05 July 2022

Join us for our next online TMBC Partners Forum!

This forum highlights some of the actions being taken by leading businesses to put biosecurity at the forefront of their operations to protect us from the threat of pests and diseases.

Tim Myers is CEO of Norwood, New Zealand's largest importer and distributor of agricultural machinery and equipment. He will take you through their innovative approach to pre-border supply chain biosecurity risk management and how going above and beyond the requirements for biosecurity is making an impact.

You'll also hear from Kristina Cooper, Head of Operations Risk and Assurance at Auckland Airport, about how they have built a staff culture of biosecurity awareness.  As a 'Place of First Arrival' under the Biosecurity Act, Kristina and her team are working hard to ensure the airport is beyond compliant and raising awareness of biosecurity risks and obligations.

Both organisations are part of the Biosecurity Business Pledge, a partnership that aims to help all New Zealand businesses take a proactive approach to their biosecurity practices.
